Devlog 3: Cooking mechanics


Hello! This is our third devlog about the game CookedBattle, which is a local multiplayer cooking and fighting game where you cook the weapons you will use to defeat your opponent.

Updates:

This week, we have been programming the base of the cooking mechanics. We have created a bread base that can be cooked in the oven and later picked up by the player. The oven also lights up when something is being cooked. Please note that this feature is not finished yet and we plan to develop it further in the coming weeks.

Additionally, we have changed the configuration of the map, which will probably be the permanent configuration. We have also added a fridge that will be used in the cooking mechanics, specifically to cool down the jelly.

Lastly, there is now background music playing in the game, although the theme may change in the future.

All the difficulties in development these past couple of weeks have been related to the cooking mechanics and the deadlines of other projects we are working on. We promise that the next devlog will showcase more progress!
