Devlog 1: Idea of the game

We present to you the game CookedBattle. This game involves a mixture of cooking and battle against your friends with the food you just prepared.
The general mechanics of the game consist on a versus in which two chefs have to cook their weapons using recipes and a pool of ingredients . There are three types of weapons:
- Melee weapons: Short range weapons that allow you to hit your opponent with them. After a some uses they will break and you will have to cook another one. Example of a melee weapon: Baguette.
- Range weapons: Throwable weapons with a long range of effect. The player can use each of them just once, they will have to cook another one to use them again. Example of a range weapon: Soup.
- Traps: Placeable items that affects the other player when they step on one of them. Each trap has a different effect on the player. Example of a trap: Jelly, stuns the player for a couple of seconds.
In the future we plan to implement more options to each type of weapon, these are only the initial ideas.
The idea is to use these weapons on a closed arena where you and your rival chef are going to cook and fight face to face on a local multiplayer, but be carefull, your enemy can enter into your kitchen and attack you at any time.
